We take a maximum of just six guests on our Daintree safari, for a more personalised experience.

Crossing the Daintree River

We travel across the Daintree river on a cable ferry. Enjoy the beautiful river views.

Morning tea in the Daintree

Enjoy homemade muffins, fresh fruit, Daintree tea or freshly ground coffee in the heart of the rainforest.

Guided walks with Nicholas Fox

Nicholas is your walking-talking encyclopedia as you immerse in the beautiful Daintree rainforest.

Cape Tribulation Beach

We'll visit Cape Tribulation beach and discuss local history, flora and fauna.

Secluded swimming spot

You’ll love visiting our hidden, crystal clear swimming hole under a lush rainforest canopy.

Daintree Ice Cream Company

Soak up the scenery in the gorgeous gardens whilst sampling seasonal tropical fruit ice cream.

A stunning panorama overlooking Daintree Rainforest and the Daintree River mouth.

Lunch at Daintree Tea House

Choose chicken, beef, vege or our specialty, Barramundi. Served with salad, chips, fresh bread & delicious tropical fruit.

A one hour guided wildlife cruise

Cruise the Daintree River with a local boat captain. Enjoy the diverse flora & fauna and maybe spot one of the resident saltwater crocodiles.

TOUR FAQs

We supply drinking water, wet weather gear and insect repellent. 

We also provide a delicious morning tea of homemade muffins, tea or freshly ground plunger coffee and fresh fruit.

Lunch at Daintree Tea House Restaurant, ferry fees and a 1 hour Daintree river cruise is all included in the tour price.

Wear light summer clothing and comfortable shoes.

Our tour is not strenuous; the walks are slow and only a moderate level of mobility is required.

We pick up our guests from their resorts in Port Douglas and Mossman. We do have many visitors staying in Palm Cove and Cairns join our safari. Simply make your way up the scenic Great Barrier Reef Drive/Captain Cook Highway and we’ll arrange a convenient meeting place in Port Douglas.

Our tour price is fully inclusive. The only cash you might need is if you’d like to try ice creams when we visit Daintree Ice Cream Co.

Make sure to bring a hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, swim wear and a towel.

There are opportunities to change if you wish to swim, bring a towel.

Children under 7 years of age are very welcome but due to government child seat requirements only on a private charter basis.

Yes, Private charters can be arranged for our cruise ship guests.

We return to Port Douglas around 4pm.
